Study in Germany

Germany is renowned for its public universities which are well funded by the Government to ensure continuous high standards at these institutions. Hence, to attract brilliant minds to its economy the German government discontinued undergraduate tuition fees at all universities in the country. Although public universities are tuition fee, you are required to pay a small semester fee. This fee varies with universities. TO qualify as an international student to study in Germany, an "Abitur" or its equivalent is needed. It's a university-preparatory school leaving qualification given to students after their secondary education. If you are from outside the European Union, in most cases the Abitur is not equivalent to the high schcx)l diploma given. It is usually compared to A-level or the International Baccalaureate Diploma Before beginning your application, make sure your certificate is equivalent to the Abitur.
