Why De Montfort University?

Employability

The average salaries for DMU’s international graduates are £27,100 for undergraduates and £38,760 for postgraduates.

Our internship scheme Frontrunners offers part-time, paid work experience. We also have an on-campus recruitment agency, Unitemps.

Successful students

Our students and alumni do some amazing things, from designing outfits worn by celebrities such as Beyonce and Lady Gaga, to working on some of the most popular animated films, such as Frozen and Big Hero 6.

170 accredited courses

Over 170 of our courses are accredited by professional bodies, ensuring they remain relevant to industry. Through these accreditations, students can gain significant exemptions from professional qualifications after graduation.

Supportive and friendly

DMU offers free English language support while you’re studying – 2 hours per week for undergraduate and research students, and 3 hours per week for postgraduate students. We also offer free airport pick-ups, and an international welcome week when you first arrive on campus. We have a dedicated International Student Support Team and a ‘buddies’ scheme which matches you with a current DMU student to help you settle in.
